Following the AQA syllabus, I am both an experienced teacher and a GCSE and A level exam marker for this subject.
Sociology A level (AQA)
PAPER 1 and PAPER 3
Paper 1 looks at Education and Paper 3 looks at Crime and Deviance. Both topics are studied with particular focus on theory and methods. Sessions will focus on both this content and the specific ways questions will be set and necessary structure required to achieve good marks.
PAPER2
This paper is called "Research methods and topics in sociology" and contains varying options from which each school/ college selects one topic from selection ONE and one from selection TWO. These topics include:
